The Teachers and Education Workers Union (TEWU) and Senior Staff Association of the University of Cape Coast (SSAUCC) Brass Band has been inaugurated with a call on members of the University community and the general public to patronize it. The UCC Sam Jonah Endowment Fund has presented a 33-seater Toyota Coaster bus to the Faculty of Law at a ceremony at the forecourt of the Main Administration Block. The gesture was in response to an appeal made by the Faculty for a bus to transport law students to observe both civil and criminal proceedings at various law courts to enable them to get practical knowledge of the Ghanaian legal system.

A send-off ceremony has been held for the 2016/17 National Service Personnel posted to the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
