The Teachers and Education Workers Union (TEWU) and Senior Staff Association of the University of Cape Coast (SSAUCC) Brass Band has been inaugurated with a call on members of the University community and the general public to patronize it. In pursuance of its mandate of improving teaching and learning in higher education, the Centre for Teaching Support (CTS) of the College of Education Studies of UCC has extended its services to faculty of the School of Medical Sciences, University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS-SMS).

The Centre for Teaching Support organised a week training workshop for 35 faculty of UHAS-SMS on the theme “Improving Teaching Methodologies: Andragogical approaches and Strategies with Information & Communication Technology (ICT)” at Ho in the Volta Region.

The UCC Sam Jonah Endowment Fund has presented a 33-seater Toyota Coaster bus to the Faculty of Law at a ceremony at the forecourt of the Main Administration Block. The gesture was in response to an appeal made by the Faculty for a bus to transport law students to observe both civil and criminal proceedings at various law courts to enable them to get practical knowledge of the Ghanaian legal system.
