About Programme: 

The Master of Philosophy Program in Ethnomusicology is one that takes students through the variety of Music Research that have been done within different settings of the environment (ranging from indegenous native cultures to the interplay of musical cultures in modern settings). The program encompasses the inextricable interconnections between cultural anthropology, sociology, music research and other related fields.

Entry Requirements: 

To be admitted to pursue a programme of M.Phil in Ethnomusicology, in the Department of Music and Dance, the applicant must have obtained a good first degree from the University of Cape Coast or a recognised University.
