Alumnus donates books to School of Nursing and Midwifery

An Assistant Professor at the University of California,USA, Dr. Jerry John Nutor, has donated assorted nursing books to the School of Nursing and Midwifery of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
 
During the presentation, Dr. Jerry John Nutor, who read Nursing at UCC and completed in 2012, urged faculty and students to use the books well to enhance teaching and learning.
 
He expressed optimism that the books would help impact young nurses and midwives in building quality healthcare services needed for humanity.

Dr. Nutor pleaded with staff and students of the School to handle the books with care so that more potential students would benefit from the books.
 
Receiving the books, the Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Dr Nancy Innocentia Ebu Enyan, expressed appreciation to the donor.
 
She said the books would go a long way to complement existing ones in the School's Library.
 
The Dean assured Dr. Nutor that the books would be properly handled to benefit posterity.
