Pro Vice-Chancellor receives Leadership of the Church of Pentecost, Cape Coast

The Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Denis Aheto, has received the leadership of the Church of Pentecost (COP), Cape Coast at his office.

The leadership was led by its Area Head, Apostle Dr. Amos Jimmy Markin, the Cape Coast Area Secretary, Pastor Patrick Ayertey, and the Cape Coast Area Executive Member, Pastor Stephen Mensah.

Apostle Dr. Markin said the visit was to introduce the new leadership of Cape Coast and to foster a harmonious relationship between the Church and the University.

While welcoming the clerics, Prof. Aheto commended the Church of Pentecost for its dedication and service not only to God but to humanity, especially the underprivileged and the downtrodden.

He expressed gratitude to the visiting clerics and assured them of the support of the UCC management.

The Pro Vice-Chancellor appreciated COP for its constant prayers for the UCC in particular, and the country at large.

Led by Pastor Ayertey and Pastor Mensah, the delegation prayed for the management, staff, and students of the University for divine protection, guidance, and wisdom in the discharge of their responsibilities.

The Area Deacon of the Cape Coast Area, Elder Daniel Quainoo, and Akotokyir English Assembly Presiding Elder George Amfo Antiri, who is also the Deputy Director of the Directorate of Finance-UCC, accompanied the clerics.

Present at the meeting was the Senior Assistant Registrar at the Office of Pro Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Alfred Ghartey.
