The University Management has held a three-day retreat with the 2019/2020 student leadership in Takoradi.
The annual retreat creates the platform for Management and Student Leadership to discuss issues aimed at creating a conducive academic environment to promote teaching, learning, and research.
Some office-holders in the University including Directors of Academic Affairs, Health Services, Finance, Audit, and Directorate of Physical Development and Estate Management (DPDEM) as well as the Dean of Students and the Security Section gave reports of their services for the previous academic year. The Student Representative Council (SRC), Graduate Students Association (GRASAG) and the Distance Students Association (DESAG) also made presentations about their activities for the 2018/2019 academic year.
Participants at the retreat sought clarifications and also gave suggestions on issues discussed at the retreat. At the end of the three-day retreat, some resolutions were made and a monitoring team was set-up to ensure its implementation.
