Pro Vice-Chancellor with the GRASAG Executives

The Pro Vice-Chancellor of University of Cape Coast, Prof. Mrs. Rosemond Boohene, has received in courtesy visit the executives of the Graduate Students' Association of Ghana (GRASAG) University of Cape Coast (UCC).

 

The purpose of the visit was to among others, introduce the new executives to the Pro Vice-Chancellor after taking office in November 2022.

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) and the University of Cincinnati (UC), Ohio in the United States of America have reviewed an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions.

The Department of Ghanaian Languages and Linguistics has commemorated the 2022 International Mother Language Day.

The International Mother Language Day was first announced by UNESCO on  November 17, 1999,  but was formally recognised by the United Nations General Assembly in 2002 with February 21 set as the day to commemorate languages across the world.

UCC VC visits Howard University, Washington DC

As part of efforts to deepen ties with some key strategic partners in the United States of America (USA), the Vice-Chancellor (VC) of University of Cape Coast (UCC), Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong has visited Howard University in Washington DC.

The visit was aimed at expanding an existing collaboration as well as harness more opportunities for faculty, staff and students of University of Cape Coast.

Training on-going

The University of Cape Coast has hosted a four-day training workshop to build the capacities of faculty and postgraduate students on detecting pathogens.               

Conference on-going

A section of senior members (academic) of the College of Health and Allied Sciences (CoHAS), University of Cape Coast (UCC) are participating in a workshop on Grant and Proposal Writing at the Coconut Grove Hotel in Cape Coast.
