The Directorate of Research and Innovation and Consultancy (DRIC) and the Centre for Coastal Management (CCM) have held a Country Coordinators meeting of the Vulnerability to Viability (V2V) Global Partnership Project from 12 – 13 November, 2020. The 2-day meeting was to plan and budget for country-specific activities over the 7-year duration (April 1, 2020 - March 31, 2027) of the project and has key stakeholders from Academia, government, NGOs and CSOs participating.
The Vice Chancellor has on behalf of the University Council, appointed Dr. David Teye Doku as Deputy Director of the Directorate of Research Innovation and Consultancy (DRIC) of the University of Cape Coast effective 1 September 2020. He joins Dr. Mrs Dorcas Obiri-Yeboah who was recently appointed by the Vice Chancellor to a similar role at DRIC.

The Department of Forensic Sciences has held a stakeholders workshop to discuss a training course for personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) on Forensic Fire Investigation.
The training course is aimed at equipping officers of the Ghana National Fire Service with the requisite skills to conduct forensic investigation into incidents of fire and determine the true cause of such fires.
The School of Business (SoB) has awarded 196 students for their exceptional academic performance for the 2017/2018 academic year.
The awardees comprised students from level 100-300 in the programmes of the School namely, BCom (Accounting), BCom (Finance), BCom(Human Resource Management), BCom (Marketing), BCom (Management) and BCom(Procurement & Supply Chain Management).
